I had not heard of those before. That one sounds different from anything I own, but it sounds great. The guy playing it did it justice.

I'm pretty sure the motorcycles have Yuasa batteries in them. They work well and last well for what they are and the kind of use they get.@Ringhammer The battery you suggested arrived. Too bad one of the terminals was smashed by the USPS. Another is on the way. You mentioned the ones you buy were made in Vietnam. This one is made in Taiwan.

Here's an interesting Thunderbird find I came across.
Congratulations! Thanks for all of the birthday wishes. That was very kind of you all to help me make it to 65.
I finished all of the clear coat on the blue VP.
Now she has to gas off and harden until somewhere around the first week of April. After that I’ll start the wet sand and polish part of the show.
Anything that looks rough is just reflection. There's no orange peel in the finish.
Lots of work but it will be worth it in the end. I pick out the project and Mrs. Gator chooses the color.
In our marriage, I'm the Boss..and I have her permission to say so.
Cheers to all!View attachment 5345884

Since the seller is sending a new one, I didn't want to risk that it is damaged more than the terminal. The box was mangled. Date code looks like September 2023.You should be able to get a small screwdriver under the terminal and pry it up enough to get you battery lead on it?
The ones I currently have are Vietnam.
Take a pic of the top, I wanna see the date code.
I guess that’s a what’s the point? bass. The charm of them is the different pickups they originally came with.@MCF need another "Big Bass?" Looks like a National with too many "upgrades."

Happy Birthday and I hope you feel better soonOn a personal note the last 12 days have included my 64th birthday, our 45th anniversary, and testing positive for the ‘VID after a night of fever and coughing. Still alive but fever goes in and out and joints hurt. And it’s not just old age.
Reminds me of The Crowded House song…Everywhere you go, you always take the weather with you
Always thought the JD basses looked a lot like Alembic basses. Never played a JD, any good?always wanted one of these….Diggins passed way in Jan……

more craftsmanship (imho) than an alembic (just look at the pup covers)….play and sound phenomenal….Always thought the JD basses looked a lot like Alembic basses. Never played a JD, any good?
