I know V listed out her favorites at one point
I use Fender Mediums a lot, and 1.14mm Tortex when I want a bit thicker sound

I have started drilling holes in them. I'm a pick chucker too

Certainly no worse than me. But I have a goal to learn Heart of the Sunrise with a pick. Oughta only take a couple years at the rate I’m going. The progression isn’t tough. But the rythem and speed are.

I expect it’s easy for Chucky.

Purple Tortex. I started drilling holes in my orange Tortex picks back when I played guitar. That carried over to bass.

Me too. I’m not surprised given your history. My brother plays a thirty five year old Guild acoustic guitar. It sounds amazing.

Just do it, man. Even some of the worst people give you more and more experience and confidence and flexibility. It's not about waiting for the right one. I've played with so many terrible people to get to this point.
