Thunderbird Club

That's why digging around isn't encouraged. Ask a question and we happily answer, even if the same question has been asked and answered many times before. It gives us an excuse to talk about Thunderbirds. You will know when you find the right one. It will choose you. Then you will know.
This is how I feel about the two pbases I own, one is a CV60's flat-wound Jamerson engine, the other (in my avatar) a heavily modded sonic with rounds that I use for rock/metal. Both fit like gloves.

You’re a great Dad.

I did not know the Vibrators were still around. I was an original fan from ‘76. They have gone through so many personnel changes I lost track years ago.

Eddie Edwards, the drummer, is the only remaining founding member, but they still sound great. Their guitarist and singer now lives in suburban NJ and is my daughter Vivian's guitar teacher. He had to get special permission for Viv to be let in to the show (she's only 13, and the venue was 21+). As her first punk show, it was eye-opening.

Strayed from the Thunderbirds Sunday to the '05 Pbass. This thing really sounds great with LaBella Low Tension Flats.

You're definitely missing out. TI, La Bella, Rotos, DRs, Dean Markley Blue Steel are some of my favorites for different things and none have factory basses except for La Bella kind of now.

I think the TI flats and the labella flats are the only strings I didn't like, and I'm not super picky.

Pyramid Golds, are my runaway favorite for flats, the Ernie Ball cobalt flats are a distant second, and much cheaper, but excellent. Optima RB are good too but expensive. I have my first set of SIT flatwounds on the way for my 5 string ric (i haven't heard if Pyramid can add a .125-132 to make a regular set a 5er....

The only set of SIT nickle rounds I got were very close if not idenstickle to the Ernie Ball rounds.

That's one of my favorite all time bands.

I introduce my kids to the classics, it's amazing what sticks and what they gravitate to.

K-pop, Punk, and Classic Rock!

Is there anything she doesn't play?
Apparently not. Must take after her Dad who can work on about anything. I got ripped off in the talent department.

I'm just going to get a couple spoons and show y'all what I can do.....

In reality this looks a bit too complicated. Should just stick to being poor at bass since I've got tons of experience at it. I really have it down well, if I don't say so myself.

I think you would do better with the moonshine jug.
