Thunderbird Club

I never owned it on vinyl, but when I got to Georgia Tech in the fall of 1973 and discovered the music listening room, I listened to it hundreds of times over the next couple of years, either in that room or on friends' stereos. I still listen on CD. And online.
I have three vinyl copies. My original, one I bought in the eighties (a cheap release without the album inserts) and one a few years ago with all the goodies reproduced.

Does Uwe sell any of his basses? Although I can see making an exception for V given how she has helped him procure a lot of them.

He never has, he's a completist.

I have an original Mobile Fidelity Copy of Dark Side of the Moon made off the Master Tape mix and cut at 1/2 speed on high quality vinyl. It sounds pretty awesome even now and it came out right after the original album.

I remember those. I had a buddy who bought nothing but Japanese imports. I never sprung for the high end pressings as I only had a decent but basic system that realistically wasn’t up to taking advantage of all the subtle differences.

So there’s always a first time then. If you need help funding, I’ll take the Blue BaCH off your hands…

I just looked outside, Marshall - Quite sunny and pleasant here in Seattle, which means Hell probably hasn't frozen

Majoring in physics, not the college part, right?
I have a thing about not going in buildings designed by architects that didn't graduate college. Weird I know. :smug:
Yeah, I ended up with several degrees, so apparently the egghead thing stuck around even if physics didn't. Going from physics to drawing little pictures confused a lot of things. I don't know right from left, but can usually tell you a compass direction. I'm nominally right handed but do some odd things left handed. Why? Excess brain balance or something. Or maybe just faulty wiring. And then there's the whole colors associated with sounds thing. This head is like living in a pachinko machine at times.
