Thunderbird Club

Got these, finally. Guy sent the wrong gauges after having a specific conversation about what I wanted (and that his Reverb webpage listing had three differing descriptions). Anyway, they will sound good and I got a good price.

I won a set that SIT gave away on Instagram years ago. I liked 'em, but I can't find 'em locally. Nashville has a deep traditional streak through it, especially with bass strings. As long as you want EB, D'Addario, DR or Stringjoy (they're made here), they got ya covered. Anything else, well...

Hi Everybody! You miss me?

Life has been busy.

We are completing some animal work and looking forward to first patient, first dose this year!

Ignore the media reports; I was not in jail for melon-related offences...

If so, they would send you to the (watermelon) cooler -

Ok everybody, let’s show @PillO what he missed while he’s been out the last 6+ months. Lots of New Birds and members added to this Flocking Club. A few of mine…

I love the original StringJoys...the ones that were round cores. Sounded absolutely amazing on my '81 G&L L1k. So far the SITs are a very close second to those. Scott and company changed to hex at some point due to demand I was told. They have been working on doing some flats, but I selfishly wish they would do some runs in the round cores. The good thing is the SITs are less expensive.
