Oh my. Hopefully it's not headed towards the house or anything important.
ouch….can’t like…if you need your SVT looked at I can help.My very first all tube amp was one of those SVT-II non-pro. I love the head box/rack case. Wish I would have had one of those. After I bought the ‘73, I ended up letting the II go, sold it with a III non-pro I had, sold the pair for $850.
so agree, should have bought another pair when I chromified my ‘13…..Got that parts bass I bought in the classifieds. Man, this Thunderbucker Ranch 66n is a fantastic pickup. Too bad they are out of production.

Anybody use these? Got them with the Orville.

Wasn’t interested in the crazy synth effects- naturally that was what 99 % of the YouTube demos had- but rather an emulation of the classic MiniMoog style bass-
You know that almost open wah sound you probably can approximate with your envelope filter-
I forget what OC-___ I had. I more/less gave it to one of our guitarists when I bought the POG-which I might use at Friday night's gig.I had a qtron and I think it’s a high pass and an envelope but I didn’t like whatever it did.
the bassballs has that wah funky sound without being synthy.
I have a pog something it’s the big one with all the sliders and it’s extremely synthy, not too impressed with it. I also have the oc-3, it’s more versatile than the oc-2 but it’s not an oc-2

I still like those. Never had one fail.Anybody use these? Got them with the Orville.

Or not. Depends on my mood when I get there. I gots to operate the PA too. I can multi-task, just not at the same time.![]()

If you haven't checked it out yet- the that Cherelle song showcases the subtle fat synth bass I was looking to emulate- also "West End Girls"- nothing to rambunctious but with a different timbre than standard bass. Also as in this Thomas Dolby song-
yeah Cherelle lead me down a Patrice Rushdon and Evelyn “Champagne” King rabbit hole for about two hours this afternoon….
Im not good at listening to somebunny’s sound and emulating it, I usually have to ask how it was done.
Didn't mean to send you off into Alice's Wonderland- I promise!! But in the one usable YouTube demo on the Boss synth pedal, they show how to get something close to that- I'll dig and find it-

I found it- shows in the context of 10 different actual songs- with settings easily viewable-
Easy now, we don't want the word getting out. We already have a lot of people from California and Texas moving here, house prices are now 4th highest in the country...it's making Thunderbird storage really expensive.didn’t know this about Utah (only been to airport)…at the gas station….
