I have a metric butt-load of pedals but rarely use them, but the Boss OC-2 is one I will always have available.
I did try synths, and flangers and some other stuffs but I always felt like I could get all those weird spacy sounds I wanted with the OC-2, a phaser and a Bassballs envelope filter.
It's for causing sonic assault waves in case of the Zombie apocalypse. It would work, too. You’re forgetting I still have my 371 in my bedroom

Keep choice sections, let it season, and send to Jeremy @Freekmagnet to make some necks out of it.It's a pretty large Maple that's in the back corner, I had an Arborist come out today, they can take half of it down and cut up. Happily, I won't lose the whole tree, but it saddens me because it's a beautiful tree.
Just make sure the cab is up to the task. Check ratings, ohm load, etc. 300 SVT watts can blow cabs pretty easily. Use a HPF.I still consider keeping the SVT head, and there's a Hartke HD115 a friend will let go for pretty cheap...
One of the few skills I have around here.Enabling at its finest. That's an art form around here.
You know, if you don’t want to haul the 322 overseas and Ken or Roger passes on it, we can maybe work something out.I was, i know i come across slow/sarcastic.
I had a GK700RBII with that cab.
Loved the amp.
But for my tastes. I didn’t feel the cab was a good match.
Eventually got the HT322.
Then it was a devastating combination.
Yeah. A vacation away from us can do that. You are asking a person with TWO Acoustic 360 stacks about overkill?
They custom make a Subway 412 for touring pros. In the Powerhouse staggered configuration. Convince them and open your wallet. Probably 4k minimum. But oh my god. You’re forgetting I still have my 371 in my bedroom

Pedals schmedels. I use a Big Muff at low settings for occasional extra dirt. Otherwise, not necessary IMO.I have a metric butt-load of pedals but rarely use them, but the Boss OC-2 is one I will always have available.

From one drinker to another, Slàinte Mhath my friend.I could fix the bridge/superfluous pickup and then continue to not use it as I have since I bought the bass.
Or I could put that $ toward something I would use-like more peanut butter whiskey.![]()
Some don’t understand this in my bedroom. Including my wife. You’re forgetting I still have my 371 in my bedroom

He never should have outsourced overseas. I think that experiment is over.Bob should have stayed in Campbell…..
I like Frank too. But if the life insurance is paid up….I love him, not trying to kill him!![]()
And he’ll massacre the frets. DO NOT let it get into that fiend’s hands.and once you send me the bass, I will continue to not use the unfixed pickup.......
I always use the hpf. Procedure.Keep choice sections , let it season, and send to Jeremy @Freakmagnet

I figured. But it never hurts to stress how important they are adjusting to the room and saving drivers.I always use the hpf. Procedure.
OK dude. I only have a 2008 VR. MIVN, if it matters (it doesn’t to me). It sounds awesome but next time I’m up, I will nag you for an invite to play through that.I’m actually selling my 1973 SVT and 810. I believe this is the best vintage SVT one could hope to find. Still has many original USA pre-amp tubes. A 12AX7 conversion was done so they can be used in place of hard to find 12DW7 tubes, but the small tubes in the bottom chassis are still vintage original. Now, the power tubes! These 6550’s look to be the original Magnavox branded Tung-Sol’s and recent testing show them still strong. I’m told these Tung-Sols from back then are some of the best 6550’s you could ever get. It’s still getting a strong 300 clean watts. A convenient mod to move the standby switch to the front where the now unnecessary polarity switch was, was also done.

Original transformers and so on.
I don’t actually think it will ever sell around here, so I plan on keeping it covered in my garage, and will power it up, get it warm and play through it a bit, at least once a month.
I’m only selling it because I know at this point I’ll never use it other than if I kept it at my studio, where it would get used up to twice a week, but at this point I know it’s in great condition and I can sell it knowing I’m selling a good, clean and perfectly functioning vintage amp. If I left it at the studio and it continues to be used, it will eventually need servicing again, and my tech no longer wants to work on SVT’s. He’s in his early’70’s and they are just too heavy.
Yep. And many other cabs. My SVT is fine through the sealed Berg NV 610 and the ported Mesa Subway 410. They are two different cabs, with different tonal characteristics. But an SVT through either one sounds incredible.Be careful though, the SVT could rip that Hartke to pieces.
