Thunderbird Club

Well...One IS enuff-for me. I honestly don't think I could find another bass I'd like better-or as well. Maybe a custom made NR II, but it would have to have a neck identical to the 67NR-but w/o the headstock 'boo-boo'(add a volute?), have the bridge and claw set-up, be just the right finish[I have a color in mind*], and be affordable...:roflmao:.

Yeah. That's gonna happen.
*this color(Emberglow)coincidentally on a 66 Thunderbird(missed it by that much)

You have your life partner. No need to look elsewhere. I would fix the bridge pickup though. If for no other reason than to satisfy my OCD.

I always venture in here through the side door of "Your News Feed", because if you don't keep up you're lost!
Hey, question... I got me one of these:

MTI era (Japanese) SVT and PR410HLF.
The GK is backup, but
not necessary...
The total weight of this amplifier is about 220 lbs. It's awesome, but getting it in and out of here:

Is really kind of a lot of work when you're just trying to have some fun.
The CP is great through it, as is the Heckinhecker. But, I'm starting to cave to the idea of smaller, lighter, efficient. I was never unhappy playing through anything I've had, truth be told! I just think that maybe it's time to do things that make life a little bit easier, a little less work when it's not really time for that.
I'm kinda bumming, this is a gorgeous amp. Just kinda venting a bit, still turning it over in that hot mental skillet that is my mind.

500w, two 1x12, all lightweight, plenty loud. all this, plus a backup amp, 2 basses, stands and small pedal board fit in the trunk of my 2011 Charger.

Want tubes and some more volume? AD200 and one very manageable OBC115 fills the bill. Smaller and lighter than the SVT and 410 you got there and surprisingly loud and full sounding for a 115.

That Terror Bass Head, can you get clean and punchy out of it? I don't only want that, but the ability, to me, recommends itself.
Anyway that's interesting... Thanks for the rec.

Oh hell yeah, those Terror Bass heads sound fantastic.
