To the brains of this group. GC is offering 48 month, 0% interest on all Gibson stuff over $499. But the fine print says they add a 2% promo fee each month on the balance. Isn't that really charging you 24% interest?

Yes, Dave contacted me a couple of months ago and I made the pickguard and TRC for him.
It was a challenge to get Alfred E Newman to look recognizable in one colour!
I found the Gibson-ish font online, but only as an image, so I copy/pasted the letters into a graphic.

Get well soon - I attended the last GTG and most of us were drawn to V's white one w/Lull pu's. If I were there this year I would have used that T-bird to compare to.

If I could do math, or could stand the sight of blood, I would have been a doctor. But it’s a usurious ripoff. And will add hundreds of dollars to a $2500 purchase. One more reason I don’t like them. And watch out if you miss a single payment.

Thanks. Guild seems to make some cool stuff. I still lust after the aesthetics and tone of that B301 or B302 the bass player in Curtis Suburban plays. But he said the weight bothers him. @JJR58 has some great photos.

He uses a real camera. And he has talent.

That’s kind of what it is. But we all like different tones. For me, V’s Lull and the Lull equipped blue Bach and the white Gibson are my favorites.
