It does. The Berg NV610 may have been one of the best sealed cabs ever made. He has toyed with a possible reissue. But he claims it is cost prohibitive in the current climate. He would have to charge at least $2500. Likely more.

I have worked in Casinos a fair bit - although only once as a musician.I don't like wearing a badge, but if you don't frequent casinos you may not know that they take security (especially behind the scenes) very seriously. We surrendered our ID, were issued temp badges and had to go through two checkpoints to get to the stage. You are considered a "Temporary Employee" of the casino for the duration of your time there, as such, you are not allowed any alcohol and only bottled water from the casino is allowed on stage. It seems a bit extreme but I get it, I never drink alcohol onstage anyway, We made $360.00 apiece for what was an easy evening, no complaints from me!
Similarly here unless you have a government casino worker ID, you need to give security your license when you check in. Once we had a security guard mix up two of my crews' licenses at the end of the day on a Friday. They didn't notice until one of them needed his ID on Saturday night... always make sure it's your ID you get back!

Is there a strap button poistion that will alleviate the forward tilt of the top of a Thunderbird? I don't get any neackdice with the button behind the neck. I'm wondering if I the strap button behing the bridge up a few inches if that will fix things?

I'm always wrong at home, no matter what. Even when it's about things I know a whole lot about. I think it's wives' jobs to keep us in our place and humble. And they are often good at it. Same with children. They are even better at it.

I don't have that problem, or if I do, I don't notice enough to care. I wear the bass low and usually have my right arm on it, so if it tilts, it gets mashed back to where it belongs.
But enough of that. There's another way. If you run the strap across the front of the body instead of behind it, that solves that problem completely. I think JIO does it that way, There are probably others who do the same thing.

Moving the lower step-button up toward the E string will definitely help... w/o moving/adding a new hole, this also works well -
It's definitely not a strap issue. The bass rotates along the end pin axis.
I have tried the strap over the bass, and while it solves the problem, I was hoping for a more elegant solution. I figure that moving the strap pin above the centerline of bass would cause it to hang more neutrally.

Someone tried to do an epoxy repair, but it would need new mahogany spliced in at the heel and headstock, and a new fingerboard....
I don't think it's worth getting into - but someone might want to do a Fenderbird. Too bad the sidewinders aren't with it.

You could move the bottom strap button up a little (and inch or two). Wouldn't take much. I never notice it given my arm is always on it while playing, I don't think I have that issue. But I don't often take both hands off a bass.
