Corrine kicks ass! CJ however is just the resident adolescent skate-boarder, music loving tavern owner! His "motto" is "...really, it's all about the music!" and that couldn't be more true in reality. He & Corrine definitely have their chops as tavern owner's, but they do it because of the music scene they created. You gotta' celebrate that because it's becoming more rare by the day. Aah, you asked about the real cars in the pics. The show was in in a American Cars association garage, so the cars belonged to those guys

Yep, it was a nice place. the show was at a Hot Rod/ American cars association garage, so we where surrounded by a lot of nice cars (and people)

Quite a Rumble!

Yep, a 1990 bird connected to a daisy chained Rumble 500c/200c stack rumbles the room nicely. I had my CIJ Jazz as a backup, didn’t use it at all.

I’ve listened to Never Say Die a few times over the years, but it never caught my ear. I’ll give another try!

They had already lost me by Technical Ecstasy. I never gave Never a fair listen.

I just bought this--but I need it (actually thinking gifting it to a friend). Original battery still in the box (fortunately still wrapped in cellophane). I'm not sure the SS has been used. The power cord has never been unwrapped. A few places where it seems the paint flecked off, but looks more like a factory issue as there are not dents or marks of any kind on it. I used it Sunday and it does whatever it does--which is make good things sound even better.

Thanks so much Dave (and your wife) for attending Winters' Customer Christmas today to see/hear our TSC show. We hit downbeat at 3:00 sharp and played our 13 song set to the minute at 45mins. I have to say we played well and had our sound dialed. One of the benefits of starting - we get there early and get our sound right. (no sound person- DIY) We were 1st of 6 bands and I got home at 8PM after hearing 3 other of the bands.

We were (as always by plan) the less loud band - our motto is: the audience needs to hear and understand the vocal lyrics/words. And not that we weren't dynamic - ask Dave. Friends who have seen us many times thought we all sounded at our best today! The Coral Deluxe Bass through my Ashdown 550 Spyder/B15N cab sounded fabulous! I normally don't get compliments on my sound, but a few people I didn't know said it sounded great, and what kind of bass is that? One of the other bass-players saw Kirstin's keys amp (TC Electronics 1x12/250w combo bass amp) next to mine and thought I was bi-amping to get my "baritone" sound. (ala Wichita Lineman) All and all, a high note to end the year for our live schedule.

CJ & Corrine had catered food and lots of it - a good time was had by all! A very good, receptive live music loving crowd in Pacifica CA, 2 blocks from the left coast.
