Rat bast@rdsWelp, my company told me I have until Jan 1st to move back to Washington or we will need to "separate", so guess it's time to start looking for new work. Gotta love it right before the Holidays.![]()

But how long ago? That purple one on Reverb sold at asking price! $4400.00.
I bought mine from Bill @saltymonkey for considerably less.
I like it very much. I think it's one of those underdog albums people like to bash without hearing it properly (not saying you haven't as I also understand why people don't like it) like "Rock In A Hard Place" by Aerosmith.Very cool! Well the bass. The album not so much![]()
Quite a Rumble! Here we try again. Pics from yesterdays setup and gig.

You still wonder? You're just saying that so I wonder if I have some kind of psychotic neurosis.
Ugh. I hate dumb stuff like that.Welp, my company told me I have until Jan 1st to move back to Washington or we will need to "separate", so guess it's time to start looking for new work. Gotta love it right before the Holidays.![]()
I’ve listened to Never Say Die a few times over the years, but it never caught my ear. I’ll give another try!I like it very much. I think it's one of those underdog albums people like to bash without hearing it properly (not saying you haven't as I also understand why people don't like it) like "Rock In A Hard Place" by Aerosmith.
The band seems to hate it too but as the circumstances around the time it was made were pretty bad it's no wonder. There's still some great stuff on it. "Junior's Eyes" is a great one, "Shock Wave" could have worked with Dio too (much better than most of tge early Ozzy era classics) and I have a soft spot for "Over To You" and "Air Dance". Actually there's no single song I skip when I play it, not even "Breakout". Great sax playing whoever it is.
Yeah... sorry to hear that. I can sympathize - and do -, but... since I've been really retired for 4 years, now (the first time didn't take), it's... hard to empathize. Any chance you can just retire? Or, if you go back - where to, in Washington? In any case; good luck...Welp, my company told me I have until Jan 1st to move back to Washington or we will need to "separate", so guess it's time to start looking for new work. Yes, in the imaginary world I have created I'm perfectly normal. You still wonder?

You can be both!Yes, in the imaginary world I have created I'm perfectly normal.
Yes - I bought something similar at Tap Plastic here in SF. It comes in wide rolls in red, blue & white. I used it (blue) on my Teiscobluebird under a clear acrylic pg. It's more subtle/less 'swirly' but still cool. The key is to use silver mylar as the base-layer as the swirl material is translucent and it catches light better w/a silver base-layer. On my Coral, the swirl plastic is coated on the underside w/silver paint.Would love to get my hands on some of that pickguard material. The closest thing I can find is drum wrap material, which might work if laminated with a thin clear layer of pickguard material.
Crap! It's like they do it at this time of year deliberatelyWelp, my company told me I have until Jan 1st to move back to Washington or we will need to "separate", so guess it's time to start looking for new work. Gotta love it right before the Holidays.![]()
