Thunderbird Club

There is a plane at the bottom of Lake Washington near the I-90 floating bridge. I think it is one of those. I haven't been down to look at it yet.

This one actually was pulled up from the south end of Lake Washington, I have a shot of it on the end of a crane as it came out.

Tease? Sorry, pickled smelts, seafood salad and octopus salad....

We only live once, octopus was a little chewy - but I'm not ruling out giving it another try. :)

In the Northern Marianas, they just leave them down there.

Mine is awful. But does look a little better than that. A long time back Chuck suggested my iron was not hot enough. It was cheap. I have since thrown it out, but not bought a new one.
Got to thinking....when Chuck said my iron wasn't hot enough, he wasn't being Southern and not really talking about my soldering iron was he? :smug: I can see that being a Southernism I haven't heard before.
I can't deny he might have been onto something there.

Talk about rehearsal that did not go as planned.............
When I left work I was feeling a little bit of upset stomach, one hour later as we're a couple songs into it, I have to drop the bass in the stand and run upstairs to barf! After laying down for awhile I got back up and returned to rehearsal, 10 minutes later it was all I could do to just get to the tub sink in the laundry room with my white T Bird still on as I heaved 3 more times...............Had to call it after that.

Much as I like playing that 7enderbird, I had the '89 in the rack as well and it was notably better sounding last night.

Ayyy... Feel better soon, your Grace...
(I thought this posted yesterday)

[Count Bassie/Rant] So the other day I went to my job, cedars on a house exterior and re-trimming some windows, to find a piece of window still nosing I'd rounded over (block plane and sandpaper) and cut to length, cut shorter to fit a new installation by another contractor on the same job. I didn't know there would be another contractor working, and hadn't done the math for materials *I wasn't going to need*. Naturally I was annoyed.
I spoke to him, but was meet with the protest that the owner of the house told him to use whatever was there... (He's in Greece)
Today I'm mulling over whether to pull the sill he installed and cut him a new piece to do his own work on, and put my own work on another window I have to address. It seems slightly petty, looking at the big picture. And I don't wish to stress the owner of the house, he's a friend of mine and works hard for his family. But gddmmt, that's my work and time he stole. I'm already trying to get out with my skin here.
I hate this business, it is populated by a considerable percentage of people who are dumb and lazy, who show up and go through all the motions but are willing to steal and cut corners. It is a dishonorable business so much of the time. And these people think they're tough and full of purpose. Homo Sapiens-Sapiens often suck.
Sometimes I hate people. [End rant/etc]

THUNDERBIRDS!!
