You make that bass look phat. It's healthier to only obsess about the things in life that really matter, i.e. does this dress look good with this bass?

Still Wednesday, time for a White Thunderbird and Joan Jett.
I've got a set on the Heckinhecker. They've been on it for a couple years now, I still like them. The strings I was asking about are DR Black Beauties. @MCF are those on one of your basses?
Super cool shot.Yes it would, I'm not likely to let that bass go for awhile yet, TBH it'll most likely go back to Spencer ( I would at least offer it for sale to him first) since
he asked about it.
I do like this old shot, I don't wear the boots on stage much anymore..

It sure would. The Lull would be great through the 360.
Not a Thunderbird, but my only 3-point... it has Thunderbird DNA, though, and hopes to be one when it grows up.

I call it the Giblet
It sure would.
Nice. I think I still kinda have a crush on her. It started when I was 20 I think.
I got me one of them. Already had a Hipshot bridge, but I changed the pickguard and put a Gibson Thunderbird re-issue in it.Not a Thunderbird, but my only 3-point... it has Thunderbird DNA, though, and hopes to be one when it grows up.

I just played one and used the upright and the Flamingo. It was overkill, as always, but it's the voice of God.If you have a show that you decide you want to get that 360 out of the basement (BOBI) for, just let me know, you can borrow the Lull.![]()
That makes you a healthy person.Nice. I think I still kinda have a crush on her. It started when I was 20 I think.
I like it a lot... I was able to get one of the last new lefty ones out the door.I have to say, everything I've read about those basses is very positive, I certainly don't rule one out in my future.
can I fly up for that one?If you have a show that you decide you want to get that 360 out of the basement (BOBI) for, just let me know, you can borrow the Lull.![]()
be cool to try a piccolo set on one of those...I got me one of them. Already had a Hipshot bridge, but I changed the pickguard and put a Gibson Thunderbird re-issue in it.

The thumbrest is a crutch, but it is only screwed into the aftermarket pickguard and the screw that looks like it goes into the body, is just the screw head glued in the rest. I can totally put this back to stock with no mods showing.
Some short scale 110-50 EBCFs, tuned D standard and this thing is a lot of fun to play and sounds spectacular!

Mmmmmm, shiny!
If you're looking to sell off the original pickup, send me a PM. I would not mind having a stock spare on hand if my repairs ever give up the ghost.![]()
