Got the Peavey punk stick oiled up, looks pretty good! Thanks for that... Got a bottle of bore oil from Sweetwater. I think I mostly liked the term "Bore Oil", it sounds like an item found on an old garage tool shelf.

I'm sure the 1K pots will make a difference, but honestly I have used and been an endorsing artist for Mike Lull since 2008, the pickups are the magic, they sound great with 500K pots and a .047 cap. That's how Mike did the T4 he built for me and the Gibson Birds he re-wired after putting his pickups in them, I've never thought of any of mine to sound "dark", but it could well just be me, as all I really have to compare them with are other Thunderbirds.

No, she's a friend from times past when I used to go out quite a bit more, I'd see her at a couple different Goth clubs here in Seattle.

Vic Silva, been around here forever (gotta be in his late 70's) and very well liked (hard to believe sometimes) around the Salinas Valley area......I'll gig with him if I'm free as it's a paid way to test strings, amp combos, basses etc. and his venues usually have good (free for the band) food and drink...
That's a little less than our price (if I did both conversions correctly.
Ours (for 95 octane) seem to bounce willy nilly between AU$1.80-2.20 per litre.
