If you like the look and want to pony up some extra coin? That's what I'm ordering for the '66. But some double checking from the interwebs and ai, I was told those are the wrong tunners..... Well they should work just fine. I have some nickle hipshots of the same style and they worked just fine. Looking forward to the lighter tuners as the body is already light on that bass.
Also made another (bigger) washer for the TR nut on the '76 which was imbeded and bulging the wood. We'll see if this helps. Unfortunately I could not get the old washer out as was afraid of digging out some wood in the process.
No. We all want to come. Post here please.
It always does. A great missed opportunity was a LPB 60’s Mustang hanging on the wall at a shop in Elk Grove about 10 years ago. They wanted $2500. I thought they were nuts. Wrong. Coulda, woulda, shoulda. The faded blue looks green.
Several months later and I'm still trying to find anyone carrying the GRL510C-9's Gotoh announced at NAMM.If you like the look and want to pony up some extra coin?
Lightest tuners available are Gotoh Carbon-o-lites .
New CARBON-O-LITE series from GOTOH. Looks interesting. The bridge has titanium saddles.
