It always does. A great missed opportunity was a LPB 60’s Mustang hanging on the wall at a shop in Elk Grove about 10 years ago. They wanted $2500. I thought they were nuts. Wrong. Coulda, woulda, shoulda.

Wrote to Gotoh, got a nice reply directing to ask Sweetwater to preorder.
Sweetwater said, " ...cant order them yet."
Nobody's got em yet that I can find, but they'd be perfect for my project.

Commited to phenolic... no turning back.
Bonded pretty well, one tiny edge gap to fill when I trim. Even "slow" CA isn't.
Got the nut fitted and trimmed down to 0.075 off the deck before slotting.
Next will be to trim and drill the overlay.
