That's what I'm ordering for the '66. But some double checking from the interwebs and ai, I was told those are the wrong tunners..... Well they should work just fine. I have some nickle hipshots of the same style and they worked just fine. Looking forward to the lighter tuners as the body is already light on that bass.

Also made another (bigger) washer for the TR nut on the '76 which was imbeded and bulging the wood. We'll see if this helps. Unfortunately I could not get the old washer out as was afraid of digging out some wood in the process.
If you like the look and want to pony up some extra coin?
Lightest tuners available are Gotoh Carbon-o-lites .

Several months later and I'm still trying to find anyone carrying the GRL510C-9's Gotoh announced at NAMM.

Wrote to Gotoh, got a nice reply directing to ask Sweetwater to preorder.

Sweetwater said, " ...cant order them yet."

Nobody's got em yet that I can find, but they'd be perfect for my project.

Thanks Ray, but I'm going with gold hardware. Otherwise that would be cool.

Thanks! We are still under the gun. Cutoff date continued till 9/30.

Water is now 600 per month.

The publicity has started to make a difference!

We are working on a class action for @ 80 million in civil damages .
Against the fraudsters that brought us here: the water board members past and present, the county, city, state and the KCWA and four other water boards.

Not politics, but history.

Google "hydraulic empires."
