It does, kind of, but I was more kidding than serious. Guild on steroids maybe. In the general shape of a B-302 but can’t find any images of that copy on the Internet.
To help you imagine things? Heck, yeah.
Yeah, been there, done that. And that ship has sailed. Which is a good thing.Thanks. I do too and think it's going to turn out great. J.T. thinks so as well.I love the color. Great work.
So I guess you’re a genius too?As do I
How long are you going to wait?
Gotta be some kind of custom bass.
what kind of music?
At least a week. I kept going back and forth and settled on instant death in a can (SprayMax 2k*) for a more clear and deeper finish so the fine metallic would really have maximum depth, and shorten my wait time by at least a couple weeks. It's not as forgiving going on but makes for a fantastic finish, stays clear and gives better protection. I will check this weekend. About 3-4 days could work but I put a number of light coats on to build it up and want to make sure it's well cured. Not vintage technique I know, but neither are any of the parts I'm using on it so it was another trade off.How long are you going to wait?
jelly.....sure wish I was handy with wood and luthier stuff like all of you guys....At least a week. *And the appropriate 3M respirator, or I wouldn't be typing.
Kind of you, but I wish I could play bass half as good as you, well 1/3 would be a big improvment. And invent death ray antenna hidden in the woods. You do so many things well, there's no reason why you couldn't. You just need to try sometime. Sell me that old white NR and buy yourself a proper project to work on and give it a try. In some ways it seems to take as much patience as knowledge. But some just have no desire and I get it. Plenty of things I have zero interest in getting into--like pulling and rebuilding and engine.jelly.....sure wish I was handy with wood and luthier stuff like all of you guys....

That’s the bassist for the house band that backed a Broadway singer the first night and Aretha Franklin tribute the second. There was a bass solo and it sounded good and funky.what kind of music?
