Thunderbird Club

I'm really not liking you right now.
That was my favorite splurge beer decades ago before there were 467 designer beers.
I recently had my first Guinness at an Irish Pub a few miles away. With fish & chips, of course. I'm not a big beer fan, but that was good!

Non Reverse Tuesday.

I have to admit, I'm curious an would like to try a Guinness.
Best beer in the world, I reckon.
Took me a while to develop a taste for it. That’s well and truly accomplished now!

Low/er alcohol level as well.

Plus Donnie, they are not a black beer. Officially their colour is “Ruby Red”!

"...for Strength!"
And for Health! Slainte !

Kippers and Guinness and you’ll live to 100.

Have a question for those of you who refinish or put new finishes on instruments-

Do you think this room could safely be adapted as a paint booth?

Measurements are roughly 7..5 feet long by 5.5 feet wide by 8 feet tall-

They is no active ventilation or windows. Could I safely spray with a P100 respirator in the time that it would take to lay down a single coat?

Solid NO on that a P100 isn't going to protect you from paint vapor, further, your light bulb could be an ignition source for vapor as well. Aside from that the room would need to be very clean, dust free and ventilated. I airbrush very often using hazardous paints, you shouldn't take chances with them.

No ventilation? It kinda depends on whether you are using VOC based finishes or not. If you are using VOC based finishes, then it depends on whether you want to be able to remember your own name when you are done. Sources of ignition are a problem with VOCs as well.

When in doubt, always do what V suggests.

Guinness is low calorie, low alcohol beer that actually tastes like something!
I have become a hopeless slacker in that regard. I have been drinking Athletic beer. It has no alcohol, or next to none, but it tastes like pretty decent beer. It doesn't taste like watery fizzy yellow stuff, either.
