Ive never seen the film, but the album is a staple for me.
That and the WKRP Thanksgiving episode are my two primary traditions.

No..... .02mfd is either .02 millifarad which would equal 20uF or .02 microfarad which would equal exactly that (.02uF), the case (upper/lower) in the lettering makes a difference, a photo of the cap would help....regardless, they are not the same thing in either instance ...Happy Thanksgiving y’all!
Question:
Is .02 mfd the same as .2uF?
yes....rolling......hounds enjoyed it...@Chucky Stiletti did you feel the 4.3 in San Juan?

I’m using a couple sets of older EMG active P-bass pickups in a current build and they (EMG) say I need to use 25k pots and a .2uF cap. Just trying to order the right value cap. PLS has caps as .02mfd. If they could only standardize how they express the value, uF or mfd?!?No..... .02mfd is either .02 millifarad which would equal 20uF or .02 microfarad which would equal exactly that (.02uF), the case (upper/lower) in the lettering makes a difference, a photo of the cap would help....regardless, they are not the same thing in either instance ...

although these are standardized (MKS, SI and other systems), "mfd" is not only not valid because the F should be uppercase since it denotes a last name (Faraday), but also because the notation system had evolved chronologically to where by the time EMG started publishing tech docs, the micro (uFd instead of mili) became the the preferred method of labeling the specific capacitance value.... hope this makes sense?I’m using a couple sets of older EMG active P-bass pickups in a current build and they (EMG) say I need to use 25k pots and a .2uF cap. Look for 220nFMy gripe is, I’m told to use “.2uF” but when I shop I find mostly “.02mfd”. These are exactly as written/published on any given website. Since these are not the same, I easily could have purchased the wrong item… and .2uF (or .2mfd) are not as common.
You might need to contact them to clarify.I’m using a couple sets of older EMG active P-bass pickups in a current build and they (EMG) say I need to use 25k pots and a .2uF cap. It was them that spec’ed .2uF. Not easy to find caps sold as .2uF.You might need to contact them to clarify.
I'll take all the deviled eggs you can provide. The rest? Nope.View attachment 7377476Thanksgiving pre funk in Seattle!View attachment 7377476
