Will be tied up with with family coming over tomorrow, so whatever everyone does tomorrow I hope all have a good Thanksgiving. Certainly thankful for the Thunderbird family, among other things.

Thanks Marshall - it was a very surprising night. We started early (8pm) so the three bands could get done before too late, tomorrow being Turkey Day. We assumed it would be moderately attended by mostly Pacifica locals. TSC had a fairly good crowd for our 45min set ATC, but as the evening developed - the place was packed! Groups came in together, and we joked that it seemed like they were bussed in. A lot of younger people - some local but a nice mix of all kinds of people. I've played Winters' many nights over many years - but this one was one of the most attended in memory. It didn't feel like they all were there to hear any one band - it felt like a scene that they all were part of. For whatever reason they all were there - it was nice to play to a full house. Kirstin did double-duty performing with us (TSC) and Rue 66 (last sextette). The Nineteens were a high energy quartette with a female singer, guitar, bass (who both sang bg) & drums. Like us they did a mix of originals & choice covers.
It was a fun night - have a great T-day everyone!

My first gig with my first actual band, we did this tune- and we killed it too! Still a favorite...

That was a tribute show from around the time Ronnie passed. They were pretty popular back in the day at my high school when the first album came out. Being from the Bay Area, they got a lot of play on the Central Coast.
