Thunderbird Club

SO on my Epi bird, how far should I move the strap button at the tail end, in order to keep the body from falling away?
Right now I am running the strap over the bout.
That's never been a problem for me, but mine is about 1 1/2 on my '64. I've seen them way up close to the top of the bout, but I've never needed to fix one tilting forward. But I've played one since about '82, so it all feels normal to me.

Thanks. I can't wait to allow you pro player types to take a shot at it. @JIO already did at Winter's. I bought it at a "reasonable" price by today's standards as it was advertised as a neck repair. I can't really see it and neither could Geo. So, either a mistake on an estate sale or a really top notch repair. She is a beauty for 61 years old. The OHSC is in good shape too, though I wouldn't use it for transport.
You can't see it? I can from here. But I'll give you a little something for it so you aren't completely hosed with it.

;)

Always loved the Meat Puppets. I got to see them play live in a tiny club in Albuquerque many years ago.
Me too. I've seen them a few times over the years - first time in the late '80s. At each show I bought Kirk's original artwork T-shirts and still have them. They are "vintage" now. :)

This one like mine currently selling for $750 on eBay !

Best, simplest way to address neck-dive. WW also...

FedMess is improving. Two boxes recently were about 7ft from the street and maybe 25 from the porch. The guy is getting better. Made it about twice as far this time. A little more practice and this young dude will have it down and make it to the porch where the directions indicate.
As can be seen, it's strategically place on the sidewalk so if another delivery person is carrying an arm full of boxes they will only have a 50/50 chance of tripping over it....
And we were able to leave a "how was your delivery" review. On top of that, I'd be willing to bet the dude doesn't think he's paid enough.
(Ignore the landscaping which will be redone.)

He could have slid it farther than that. 🏒

In my SF neighborhood (emphasis on 'hood') that would be like saying "hey porch pirates.., you don't have to walk that far from the curb"
