FedMess is improving. Two boxes recently were about 7ft from the street and maybe 25 from the porch. The guy is getting better. Made it about twice as far this time. A little more practice and this young dude will have it down and make it to the porch where the directions indicate.
As can be seen, it's strategically place on the sidewalk so if another delivery person is carrying an arm full of boxes they will only have a 50/50 chance of tripping over it....
And we were able to leave a "how was your delivery" review. On top of that, I'd be willing to bet the dude doesn't think he's paid enough.

Up on our mountain, Amazon stopped using UPS. They are using temp independent contractors. There are daily postings of packages delivered to wrong addresses, left at the driveway entrances, and all kinds of assorted nonsense.

I'm probably in the minority of Thunderbird players who plays fingerstyle only. I tried using a felt pick in '68 when I first started (Vox Delta IV/Vox Kensington amp). It didn't stick. Tried again in mid '80s ( '76 Thunderbird/Lab Series amp) it worked for a few songs, but again, didn't stick. I mess with them now and again, but just don't care for the tic tac sound. Now I just use the Steel Leather for my 2014 Thunderbird to tighten up the tone. Everything is fingers only. The only song I think it would benefit is Train Train by Blackfoot, but while we mess with it once in a while, it never makes it on to a set list.

I have significant thumb pain from arthritis, so sometimes playing with a pick is painful on bass. Guitar is a little better because it requires less energy.
Roundwounds, Tbird pickups and a pick are a great combination in a rock context!

Agreed(except for the[spit]roundwounds).

Seems like once upon a time, if customers complained (better still had video) about bad service, the employees that were giving terrible service over and over, would get fired. But now, I’d guess people don’t bother to complain because they already know it won’t do any good. AND the crappy employees know this too.

Like so many aspects of current life, sh**ty, rotten, terrible people get to continue to be sh**ty, rotten, and terrible, with no consequences.

I'll be 56 next week and never yet owned a smart phone, still rocking the flip's of yesteryear and love it to death. I can not stand touch screen anything. I have zombie fingers that just refuse to work those things. Dang i'm old lol

That never really worked great for me, but I've done it.

With my somewhat expanded middle, I've got that taken care of.
