I just never thought about phones being an issue, but it makes sense that they could. I'll def have to move my phone and see what happens.
If I'm f---ing* around at the house, the phone's prolly on the charger(if I'm playing, I wouldn't hear it anyway); If I'm on a gig, the phone's in the gigmobile. I can't answer while I'm playing, so why have it with?

Friend got a hold of that weird mongrel Destroyer. His brother took it home from the seller and the friend said I can take a look since he will visit my town next month.
The serial in the neck plate starts with H84 and from the looks of the body and the pickups it's a DB700. The neck isn't a Destroyer neck but a Roadstar II. I looked if there was a serial in it but only the numbers and digits seen on the 2nd pic. The shim on the body looks like it was put there at the factory. The neck sits very tightly and has an excellent feel. The bass had very dead flats on it but I changed a set of spare rounds and it does sound really good. Especially the front pickup and both combined.

The question is: is it a replacement neck or was the Destroyer ever made with Roadstar II necks? I really doubt lt myself but strange things happen.
Whatever the case the bass plays and sounds good and I'm really tempted. It would look great with the Avaruusasema band for example.

I had sushi once (maybe twice now that I think of it) and didn't see the fascination. Just too many other things I find I do like.
Sushi is popular here for a quick and cheap lunch. I like it and think it is healthy-ish. Plus they give you a dash of soy sauce in a little plastic fish. What’s not to love?

Though YouTubers reckon we do sushi a bit different to the US. We have it mostly in the full 2-3” nori roll rather than cut into thinner circles. Some places serve it cut though.

Something like this. I find 2 pieces a nice filling, cheap, lunch. Note little fish containers. Now I’m thinking about having sushi for lunch!

Yes they don't look edible that's for sure. About like a cactus.
I had and artichoke sandwich from Penn Station last night. Fortunately they cut the pointy ends off!

Do you eat “prickly pear” cactus?

The first fleet brought them here as a source of cochineal dye. But they were so suited to conditions that they went wild. Eventually we brought in Sth American (from Argentina I think) moths whose larvae eat them. Big success, 40,000 square km of farming land returned to being usable.

Later on Italian migrants arrived in numbers and they had another use for the prickly pear - eat them. Evidently both the pad - after removing needles - and the fruit are edible. I’ve never tried it. I have had artichoke though, nice.
