It's Memorial Day Weekend-don't forget to buy a car, mattress, or major appliance. 🇺🇸
How did Memorial Day ever get linked to consumer consumption anyway???

Folks - we need to do something collectively about these pop-up ads appearing. I'm a paid Gold Supporting Member and if they don't stop it I will end any $ support for tb and if they persist - I will end being a part of it entirely. I have sent tb my opinion (similar to here) and I would recommend everyone here doing the same.
Huh. I use iPad with Safari and don’t get popups. I do get ads though, mostly from that David’s Bridal. I really don’t Mind seeing those…

Costa Rica..
Life could be a whole lot worse. I assume he will be in San Jose. That city is a decent place to be, and is close to all kinds of spectacular parts of Costa Rica. My wife and I have completely fallen in love with Costa Rica and the Ticos. Not to mention their coffee and comida typica.

That's true, but playing the sax will make more sense in our cover band:laugh:
My son, married to a freshly minted Doctor of Musical Arts, is a trumpet player, but can play her oboe and a tenor sax. He plays drums competently, or did a while ago. He plays piano well enough to teach it. They both do. She is an oboe player, but also plays his trumpet fairly competently. It is amazing to have kids who have surpassed their parents so completely. You know the feeling. It is a good one to have.

I now feel like an arthritic gorilla who fell down 3 flights of stairs.

Used to be easier. But still doable.
I hear you. I'm almost done with the suspension work on my Ghia. I like that lift!

No respect for the old man is what that is. Pure disrespect to show you up like that. Kids! :smug:
