Yeah, but you have a very monogamously-minded wife, right? For the record...this has not been my experience.

The impetus for that thread was Fender’s threatening to sue everyone using a Strat-style body shape.
If Marshall were representing Dave, this is where he was say, "Shut up and don't say a thing."Is this your wife’s dream, too?
I've never asked.Yeah, but you have a very monogamously-minded wife, right?
Nor can I for 519096. Gibson gave me three different possibilities.I don’t consider Reverb definitive. I also can’t find anything definitive for a 510151 SN.

Let me know if that black Jazz bass ever hits the market…..
...used to be - closer to double that nowLooks like a great time!
BTW - I’d bet that nearly zero percent of the 30 something and under crowd has any clue that your band logo incorporates a 45RPM record adapter to be used on LP turntables.
The Goth is an incredibly under rated bass. I have four of them (two active and two passive). At the $400 and under used price point they are a fantastic modding platform. For a real treat and dirt cheap mod try removing the .687uf tone cap and replacing it with a .022 tone cap - it’ll bring down the house! That and a set of Ernie Ball Cobalt Flat strings and you’ll own the stage.
Not cheeky at all, if I decide to off the Goth pickguard it’s yours.
I recall having that information pre-internet -I completely agree, but seems I recall something about some in 1965. But...
1) it was the internet, I believe (most likely the issue)
2) we're talking Gibson and their numbers (like my white 1976 Thunderbird which is an oddity)
We won't even get into the possibility of me misremembering!
Zero doubled is still zero...used to be - closer to double that now
Gibson--'nough said.Nor can I for 519096. Gibson gave me three different possibilties.![]()
I think the double comment referenced Goth prices.Zero doubled is still zero
Seriously, I’d be shocked if any 30 and under person on a college campus had a clue what that adapter was made for.
I won’t let go of any of them.Let me know if that black Jazz bass ever hits the market…..

That was a few years ago. I tried searching today-no luck. Called Gibson-on hold for ~18 minutes then got disconnected. I did find out the pots are from the week of 9/27-10/3 of 1965.Nor can I for 519096. Gibson gave me three different possibilities.![]()
Six days and my to-be ThunderPbass is still sitting in the same location <20 mins away in town....
My EB-2 has a serial number that makes no sense. I do not know when it was really built.I completely agree, but seems I recall something about some in 1965. But...

Shoulda shipped 'em REA Express.I feel your pain, those model train cars of mine were 29 days in transit from Pennsylvania to Seattle, They took a trip on the barge to Alaska for more than two weeks.
Shortly b4 they shipped it.My EB-2 has a serial number that makes no sense. I do not know when it was really built.
