I don’t think telling someone to bugger off qualifies as practicing law without a license. If he wants to find an attorney to argue that tenants in common doesn’t apply, I’m happy to laugh. 35 years running an IP company dealing with parents, copyrights, and trademarks on a continual basis does provide some level of knowledge…and a few IP attorneys on call.
It depends how you do it. A concise FO is often better.

My point was a bit verbose. Basically, when you run a smaller IT company you can't afford to have lawyers on staff and the IP guys charge a fortune for a retainer. So, you either study, learn, listen, or go broke on legal fees. Do the easier stuff in-house (contracts review, determine what needs legal help, etc.) and outsource the more complicated items on a project by project basis.

Good view point on the subject! I'm usually more traditional than i am to truly venture out. Though this i'll debate, & keep tally when others chime in.

Thank you :)
Count reflected my thinking. I would just say there is no wrong answer unless mahogany isn't the answer. :smug: That's just me. I'm fan of mahogany and believe it contributes something important. How much is dependent on all the other factors involved.

Been using the Squire with the cheap strat humbucker since I got it and again last night at rehearsal and was really loving what I was hearing. I don't have to make a decision ASAP but I'm torn on yanking the strat PU and installing a Koreabucker, then refinishing it. The crazy thing just sounds good to the point I'm going to be unimpressed if the Koreabucker doesn't sound as good or better. The tone pot is 500k and I'm not sure how that will pair with the KBer. Not that it can't be replaced. But it sounds good and the P/S wiring is kind of interesting and would be wasted on the KBer. More playing is needed. We're putting in new HVAC so suggesting another Squire for the KBer is possibly a bit much.

My plan was to keep playing it thinking the new will wear off and I definately want to swap PUs. But that's not happening. I may refinish in black (thought PB sure would be sweet), and keep playing it. The KBer could always be added later. But...not getting my ThunderPbass I was shoooting for is another first world problem hanging out there.

What says the Kingdom; As my Gibby 60s RI pickups are for a future Vintage 60s-70's tribute thunderbird build, i'm contemplating two potential body woods. Go classic Mahogany, or opt for Alder. I'm most likely going stealth bolt-on construction (ferrules instead of a neck plate),

Reason of asking is I've a 75 Grabber bass which is alder body, & that thing roars (it is also light due to the body depth of 1.25"), & I know some epi bolt on birds were alder, others like my goth are a very soft mahogany, which well mine's been through much hell of breaking/cracking.

Thanks a bunch!
I'd say mahogany, but what kind of mahogany is available? Mahogany has pores and it's a lot of work to get them filled. That's why many newer Gibsons have that thin "didn't even try to fill the pores" finish.
I love my alder body 76 Ripper, and my alder Pbass body is great. If it's getting a solid colour, I'd go with alder.

Just adopt the speed at which Will and I get things done.

I've been in many bands over the years. Sometimes you part ways, but it's on a respectful basis. Down the road you may want to work together or recommend each other.
Someone like Dave described is just going to waste your time and energy if you interact any further. Those people get no further communication from me.
