Wow, nice. I often picture my 2013 with a two-point bridge with tail piece. What did they do with the original three-point's holes? I'm guessing on my Vintage Burst with exposed wood grain it would be kinda futile.

Disclaimer: no Brass Monkeys were poached to get this.

On my way home from work I saw what appeared to be the remains of a Brass Monkey on the side of the road, so I stopped, and I was correct. It looked like a stable of Iron Horses savagely attacked him. There wasn't much left but I managed to salvage some. So in his honour I'm going to try my hand at shaping a Brass nut for one of my basses. I'm just hoping a Rubber Snake did not attack him as well, the venom might affect the results.

If this bloke really thinks it's 'different tastes' why spend time slagging the TBird in the first place?

A person could spend all day on here and elsewhere slagging people's J-basses and telling others how hideous their $10000 coffee table basses are etc, but we don't because y'know, different tastes. Obviously that does not preclude tweaking the nose hairs of ignorant, uninformed fanbois when necessary.

What is it with English spouses eh? I'm married to a Geordie and I'll be pushing it to have 3 basses. All the while he is able to accumulate bespoke suits, vintage clothes, sunglasses and whatever, to the point he's filled his wardrobe and is now taking over mine. Recently jackets have started breeding in the bass section of my wardrobe in the study/music room/library/orifice.
