It would get you heard! Think it was the only time I engaged the bright switch on that bass. Makes it pretty much unusable as an actual bass, IME!

Maybe it's a Southeast thing? Mostly a mountain bike thing as well. I did my first downhill race on a trail bike, was kind of terrifying- cemented that saying for me!

I'm lucky to almost always have at least a scrap of the exact piece of wood I'm working on. Here's a test on off fall from the board used for the top of the 12er I'm building. I even bookmatched it.

It will be fun using the technique on a more highly figured board.

We use the term offal to describe scrap we generate during manufacturing sheet metal stampings.

Mountain biker here as well. Definitely choose the right bike for the "job". No reason for a "full squishy" to ride mostly flat trail with just a few features. And there's trails where my hard-tail single speed is just perfect for a great workout even in the winter.

And I just 5 minutes ago finished the last episode of Valkyrien (NRK) -- you look like you're ready to set up a clinic in a disused bomb shelter.

Yeah It's a lounge and also a scratcher. All cats seem to love them. After they've decimated one side of it you can flip it over and they have a whole new surface.

I'm intrigued about these Cobalt Flats. I think I'll try a set. Just put the DR Hi-Beams on last night. I'm a moron and cut the G way too short, so I put the DM Blue Steel G back on and have the DR E, A, and D. Didn't get much time to play, but the harmonics ring out WAY better than the Blue Steels, but then again the Blue Steels had been on for about a month. Getting some fret buzz I didn't have before the change. Need to figure that out.

Check neck straightness. If the DR's have a lighter tension than the Blue Steel's the neck could be slightly back bowed.
