Nah man... Bluesy, hard rockin', badassery from the 60's & 70's is my thang... and it has been for most of my life. on one hand, I am beyond mystified, as to how it took me 47 years to finally be introduced to these guys! On the other hand, I'm beyond thrilled to find something "new", that I love this much! I was on my first trip through "'Ot 'N' Sweaty" yesterday, when the spirit grabbed ahold of me & made me switch avatars!

I think they sound a bit sterile compared to the Lollar replacements I have in my t-bird. To my ear the Gibson pickups seemed a bit muted in comparison.

I don't hear them as sterile, as I do a bit dark sounding. But I get what you're saying.
