They were charging about 2K more for the signed Nikki Sixx MKII when they were new back in '08 limited to 5 pcs, it's not a new thing for Gibson.

4 years ago I bought a 69 in equal or better condition, I paid less than half. I really don't think that the market has recovered to reflect prices like this.

Watching the market on these vintage Gibbys is frustrating. It's inconsistent and hard to get a read on. All I know is, I saw a sexyass vintage NR Thunderbirddrool

It is like issuing a Jimmy Page, Custom Shop Gibson L6S. The artist has zero connection to the custom item. Stupid.

According to the write up... he was involved with the design, and used them on last years tour. That's some kinda connection... but I get what yer sayin'.
