I am Juan Villalobos Sanchez Ramirez, chief metallurgist to King Charles the V of Spain, and I am at your service.
This baby was built by Gibson Employee and its an incredible bass. Its built with a Thunderbird body Wermouth P bass neck Bartiolini soap bars.Bad Ass II bridge Shaller tuners. This is a monster its has active PUPs. They sound much better then the Gibson Soap Bars. It built like steel. I'am selling it but I'am still on the fence because its un replaceable

Thanks Its great bass it was built by someone the works for Gibson. I'am not sure if he works in custom shop but I would not be surprised thats how well this thing is built. Plays like butter and sounds incredible

That reminds me...where the hell can I get a replacement tbird pickguard that actually HAS a bird on it?
Been looking for a black PG with a bird for awhile for my epi, but now the wife has finally given the blessing for the '14 VS Gibson, and I've decided it MUST have a black PG with a gold bird to match the TRC.
Help me out here. Its almost as aggravating as getting a Ric TRC

I recall that bass, or one that looked very much like it on ebay maybe 12-13 years ago. One doesn't easily forget that color!
There is zero chance. This is a vinyl such as people attach to their vehicle glass. You'd have to destroy the PG to remove it.

The chrome Gotohs and D-tuner really do it for me set against the matte black. I dig the Supertone and I'm hesitant to add any more chrome but I was thinking to do this PUPS too. Do you think it'll be too much?

I have white, shiny gold, dull gold, black, shiny silver, dull silver and red. I don't have the 50% larger white any longer but I do have the white in a true 2X. It's awesome on my pickup truck.
