Remember some time ago in a different club we toyed with the idea of creating a club for gear heads (car nutz) that play basses, where club numbers would be self assigned and would reflect the displacement of your favorite engine (i.e. 327 or 440 or 350 or 289 etc). One of these days we need to get around to starting that club!

What are those numbers in? I would have to take what the equivalent of 2.3L is, from my M3.

Yep, I'm starting to get that vibe..... The Ibby SR club, kinda serious..... The Dimension club, kinda boring.... But to be a card carrying member of the T'Bird cult (er, sorry I meant club), it requires one to have a "strange" hobby or be certified insane, or enjoy your Sunday afternoons, running about naked in the wilderness, smeared in chocolate, pondering whether your bird is naturally aged, or whether she's been "artificially relic'd". Or maybe all 3......

As for the cult/club this... it's actually a biker gang, some do refer to it as a cult though.

If I could find a sane way to transport my bass and my wife on my bike I would totally paint "T-Birds" on my riding jacket, how's that for a cult? And she'd GLADLY dress like Sandy for me.

Well, I'm glad someone knows what he means. My best guess was that 'getting your fluids changed' was slang for a blood transfusion. But I'm too scared to type anything I read in the "Thunderbird club" into Google, after the education I received when trying to find out what on earth was meant by blowin' a trannie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here are a couple more Epi's on the local CL, these things pop up regularly for $200 (cheap IMO) but usually without a case. Could possibly be gotten for less with a little dickering. No affiliation to either, just FYI for the sake of conversation. At that price I'd snap up that white one if I didn't already have one just like it.

Those both look pretty good. I'm guessing the white one is a neck through, which means that's a great price. The black one might be, too.

I believe both models are bolt neck.
