My magic amp settings not working for you?

Speaking of which, I was just playing my dual-humbucker-neck-thru-non-bird bass, through my small practice amp. And I tried your magic amp settings, dimed everything, it has a variable mid frequency knob that I backed off a little bit. And I have to say, it is pretty magical!! Tomorrow I'll try that through the Mesa!

Yeah baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!, YEAH, the corner lot is just too massive for my little studio apt.. This is how i have to set the GK. No Ampeg pre.

It's the kinda, well, you have to be here to hear it sort of thing. Not even close to sounding like a geetar.

Me and all. If I was looking for 'flat' on active EQ, might start with everything straight up and all shaping/voicing switches disengaged.

Yes it is. Once again, Gibson has pulled their usual trick of making a small run of lefty basses, and not telling anyone. Which is why I'm on good terms with a guy at my Sam Ash, who "happens" to have a good contact at Gibson...

That's more like I expected to see.

@JJR58, you have to set your B7Ku saturation switches to 'cut' dude. 'Flat' will flatten your building. It's getting cold this time of year. Little old ladies and their tiny doggies will be out in the street in the wind and snow...
