I have a trade offer for a really pretty Stingray. Great neck. I never could get a sound I loved out of those things. Tony Levin can, but I can’t![]()
Neither can i. But The bass player from The Cars did as well.

You cant go posting pictures with no bird in it! Please reference the name on the fromt door -Thunderbird Club- in the future please refrain from these non bird posts. Thank you
Just poking fun at ya.
At least I have a better idea of what glasses she hasKat has yet to reveal what SHE, looks like. She may not ever will.

Well... around here common sense would prevent you from not buying it!Ha! Sorry...I love this club for the general conversation and often forget the specificity of the club! That said, I’ll be posting more bird related stuff as soon as mine gets here. I’ve also saved a VP in a cart online. Hopefully, common sense will prevent me from pulling the trigger, though that’s not worked too well in the past![]()
G string that has less presence than a stripper's.....

Lol good luck with that. This club has always been full of enablers. We, et al will always encorage the N+1 as the proper number of Birds(ok basses) to own. So you might as well pull the pin and get that sweet sounding VP.Ha! Sorry...I love this club for the general conversation and often forget the specificity of the club! You never know what those dresses could be hiding! For all we know, the first two could actually look like Hulk Hogan... in his prime! We have been given enough information that we can come up with composite sketches.

A joke that's gone on probably a lot longer than it should have, about Kat hunting me down due to some form of tort related comment....s
This also goes back to the different fretboard materials as well.Who knows, but I’m hoping I’ll wait till my Gibson arrives by (I’m assuming) bicycle courier. The seller told me he shipped on Friday, but I’ve yet to receive notice. Hopefully I’ll receive that notice tomorrow.
At any rate, I’m not typically the kind of bass owner to get one thing I like in different colors. I can easily see having multiple birds, but I want them all to bring something different to the table, soundwise. Which, in my thinking, having 4 makes perfect sense
Played a few different birds the other day at a music store. Oddly, none of the necks flung themselves to the floor and the 3 point bridges didn’t fly off and burst into flames when I tuned it up. No arm extension surgery required to play a low F. Maybe those were the 3 exceptions! I don’t find the ergonomics off putting in the least. Quite the opposite, in fact
