Unfortunately I won't have any time in the U.K., we're landing at Gatwick and taking the tube to St. Pancras for the train to Paris. I don't have family in Scotland, it's someplace I really want to visit very much though.

Looks almost like vintage Sidecar Motocross, but there looks to be WAY too many people.

There are motocross sidecars, and that's what those people are doing. Playing in the dirt is fun. Doing that just looks painful.

It’s very possible I’ve never tried one with the right cab. When I briefly owned an SVT3Pro, I was using two Eden 210XLTS? I think...whatever they were, I didn’t care for em. But in general, don’t take anything I say all that seriously. I sure don’t

I didn't take it as an insult. We like what we like and it doesn't have to be the same gear. You have probably owned way more amps than I have so I like to hear your take on them. I always thought of Eden and SWR as being too "clean" or "hi-fi" for my ears. They work great for others but just don't do it for me. I like some dirt and grit in my amp. Disguises some of my bad playing

What's the bridge on that one? It's unusual looking. Headstock looks a little odd, too, but it's probably just the picture angle.

Bridge looks stock for that model to me. Kinda Hipshot A style-ish?
The headstock are a bit different, but I kinda like em for what they are

Traynor/Reiner update for anyone who cares. Did s full run through of the set for the Prayer Flags gig tonight. I found adding the Reiner pre gave me a lot more/better low end and clean headroom. It still ain’t anything you’d confuse for clean though. As for volume, we were really loud, even for us, and I had no problem getting more than enough volume. That power section is pretty stout as far as volume goes. To get as clean as possible I ran the Traynor’s master volume wide open. The Reiner pre (which is super clean) was at around 9 o’clock and the preamps master was about the same. So tons of volume to spare. Not 100% sure I’d recommend the amp yet, but you could do a heck of a lot worse, especially for the price. It’s also light for an all tube amp. I ordered a new preamp tube for v1. 5157? Whichever @kat888 recommended. Called Jonathan Reiner and he said that’s what he’d try first as well. So ordered a JJ gold pin. Only like $25 or something. Interested in hearing the differences.

BTW, does yours weigh a ton also? Compared to my Classic IV Pro, the Studio is hefty.

I have an Epi Pro IV that's gotta weigh ten pounds at least. Recently bought the Classic Pro. First thing I noticed was the weight, significantly lighter than the Pro IV. The Gibby was somewhere in between. I played a VM Jazz five string that would have held the Queen Mary in place. That thing was a backbreaker.

Could be the same version that was used on several Epi basses as well. It looks like the one I used when I rebuilt my Goth and it was listed as coming from an Epi bass.

Found this on GC's website. Mentions some parts but aside from"brass bridge" it doesn't mention it.
