There are basses, and there are Thunderbirds!
Never wear your coat indoors, you won't feel the benefit when you go out.
Another good advice from "down under"...

It was my quote about being gone for most of the day, that she quoted… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯I think that was meant for Andy...![]()

Teacher is late, so I have a few minutes to spare.
Maybe they split the package?![]()
I am heading out of town for a week (New Orleans for the weekend then Mississippi to visit my mother) and will have limited internet access. Anyone want to place bets on how many new pages the club will get to by next Saturday?

That would be heresy, I don't play 7enders at all any more. Sorry Jeff.
I'll see about the Epi and the D Bird, I may have to try the EB they have as well.
Hey guys, I have this in the gear for sale forum not getting much attention. I really need to move this. Epiphone Classic Pro modded with two Chinabuckers and my Badbird II bridge. Plays and sounds great. Only condition issue is three small holes where I moved the tailpiece. $350 shipped in the lower 48 states.View attachment 2881274 View attachment 2881274 View attachment 2881275 View attachment 2881277
Somebody here needs this...........Now!
Too many and not enough. Have a great trip! I cannot keep up with this club when I’m away from my normal routine so I don’t even try anymore.

I can with all honesty say, that I've read every single post in this thread and the 7 parts that came before this + the Epiphone Thunderbird Club thread (that merged into this one) and then some...
Since all that nonsense started in 2009 (when I joined TB after getting my first Thunderbird), I haven't had a life...
But it's been a fun ride so far...![]()
That's Scott's rig, isn't it?
A combination of the two. I don't want to be a pain in the ass, so it's finding a balance of checking in periodically, but not too much. I asked my bass teacher recently what he thought, and he had some good perspective. He said that my project is relatively small potatoes for them and it's really not their main thing. So he said to realistically give it six months and then start really inquiring. March 15 will be six months.Have you done any checking on progress or are you just resigned to let it take what it takes?
Yes, his modded Classic Pro...
If I didn’t already have one I’d be all over it!
Amazing, my friend!
I was easier and more manageble in the beginning, and WAY before The Fixer and JJR58 came along...![]()

Last I heard, though, was that he was hoping to have it done the end of Dec. He'd injured his hand or something. All I'm really disappointed in right now is lack of communication.
