Thunderbird Club

I fear I have strayed from the path a wee bit....

TBQH, i don't care for the new thunderbird. First off, why use the babicz bridge (although sleeker looking) when the 3 point has no trouble for intonation and set up (if you know how to). Second: why the upgraded electronics: sure use something from another bass just to give the thunderbird variety, but if most people get a thunderbird for it's signature growl, they won't bother with the many other options within it. Third, price jacked up by 1k...that's just wrong. Gibson had lots of opportunities to come out with something great (especially during the 50th & 120th anniversary) Re-issue the 60's-70's birds, same specs as the originals with a few updates (such as pickups, but mandatory incasing in chrome covers, not black) chrome hardware. 60's revamped with reverse style tuners, 70's with the bicentinal bird logo. & most importantly; color variety.

GIBSON, IF YOU READ THIS, GIVE US CHROME & COLORS FOR FUTURE THUNDERBIRDS!!!! NOT A HUGE PRICE TAG

Got a package delivered at work today, non bass related but Mrgoats might appreciate it ;)
