If anyone is unsure about buying a Cataldo, I don’t know what to say. World class basses, IMO
There was something i ran across a while ago on the intra webz. "Is a Cataldo any good?", i thought, you're kidding me.
I set mine up with a very flat board.
I need to do it again at the moment- the summer humidity has put a little relief in the neck.
One of the key ingredients. Flat relief. Or none for that matter. Humidity sucks!!!

Just did it- quarter of a turn on each rod. Slight back bow- perfect!
When the weather changes I will back them off a quarter turn when she starts to rattle on the frets too much.

Another random analogy regarding strings. Rounds are like wearing high heels. I'd never make a good Queen.
