Tony Iommi? Not sure what you mean...Lemmy and Horton Heat were friends. We did a bunch of tours with Horton Heat and Lemmy came out to some shows. I’ve met him and he was a very sweet guy, but it’s not like we were pals or anything
That ummmm..... wellll....... at least if he gets in an accident, he has a seatbelt on.......Steve Albini always did this...

Tony Iommi?
Johnny Cash?

It sounds like what we do.Sounds silly, I know
Big magnets in the back of the bass, and a big steel belt buckle. Problem solved.WHAT IN THE FVCK is up with that strap pin placement?! You can't tell me that doesn't try to fall away from you![]()
Mark IS Elvis. He just hasn't let on. All along, Elvis really wanted to be a bass player, and more specifically, a Thunderbird player. Now he's got his wish. Read all about it this week at the checkout stand in your favorite local grocery.Tony Iommi?
Johnny Cash?
ELVIS?!
Can't tell for sure but it even looks like she's taped the other end of the strap to the body. I can't imagine what she's trying to accomplish with either end of that strap treatment. Certainly an odd bird.WHAT IN THE FVCK is up with that strap pin placement?! You can't tell me that doesn't try to fall away from you![]()

I'm curious as to how he came up with that idea. Like you I'd would never in a million years think to try that.
I can’t remember a time when Albini didn’t wear his strap that way. Seems like I’ve seen a couple other folks do it that way over the years.
MAMIL time, then. Or something like that.I’ve put on enough weight this winter to resemble jumpsuit Elvis :/
Fvck that woulda been cool to meet him!Naw...just been traveling in bands forever. Bound to meet a couple folks that way
Very funny! I wish it were headed my way!
None of those. Almost got to meet Johnny. Was hired by his label to play a tribute show for his 70th birthday, but Johnny was too sick to make it. Jack Clement (wrote and produced a lot of stuff for Johnny) sat in, Rodney Crowell, Lucinda Williams, Mike Campbell, Dave Roe (Johnny’s bass player), Radney Foster and a few others all sat in and did Cash tunes. Really fun night. Sad Johnny couldn’t make it out. He didn’t last long once June died
