I never understood exactly what these filters do. How will you use it?

I could show you in 10 seconds a lot easier than I could type it in 30 minutes, but I’ll try :)
Say your treble is just too bright, but when you turn it down, it lacks presence...with the filter engaged you could dime the treble, but set the filter so it only goes as high as you like and no higher. It just helps for fine tuning. With lows, you can waste headroom on your amp by making it work too hard to amplify the super low frequencies your cab ain’t even reproducing all that well. Cutting out some extreme lows can actually make your rig sound bassier while protecting your speakers and adding clarity

Had wondered why no one ever did this in a high quality pedal format...looks like someone does :)
I'm curious. The low pass filter looks like it cuts your signal above 330 hz at a minimum, and more if it's adjusted differently. I can understand the point of a high pass filter, but not a low pass filter with the frequency range of that pedal.

[edit] um, never mind. I just looked at it again. It looks like a great addition. I also looked 'em up and found the manufacturer's website. $165. I'll wait, but it looks like one of those things that will happen in time.

They’re in Canada. Mine was $165 plus $15 shipping. If I remember right, worldwide shipping rates weren’t too bad

For me...say my amps ‘treble’ knob extends too high for my tastes...I’d set the low pass at maybe 5k or even a touch lower. I certainly wouldn’t want to shave off everything above 330hz, personally. Broughton also makes a simple ‘always on’ HPF only for a lot less money. I already have an fDeck for that, though

I have an fDeck as well. The only complaint I have with it is that the input and output jacks are reversed from everything else on the planet for some reason. I might reverse the jacks one of these days to solve that problem. But I do understand the upper limit LPF once I reread everything and figured out that 330 was the lowest the LPF could go, not the highest.

Reading - it's hard, y'know.
 
Found them. Yeah, there's an always on HPF as well. Added to the list.
The minuscule HPF they make looks like it would fit just about anywhere. You could put it somewhere under your pedalboard. Maybe that's the real solution for the fDeck. It goes on the bottom of the board, which then un-reverses the input and output.
