Are you sure color would make a difference? ..... your story ain’t quite adding up
I'll give you three solid reasons.

1) Think about it, a lot of the sound absorptive material they use in studios is black. Obviously it has nothing to do with the cell foam structure or the egg crate surface, it's the black color that makes a difference.

2) If you wear black clothes on a warm day in the sun you get hot much quicker than white clothes, so black basses could also have an effect on the heat level those pups would see, and if you recall your basic electronics fundamentals - heat effects electron flows.

3) Finally and most importantly, never forget the animal magnetism associated with little black dresses! Obviously Black impacts magnetic fields more than other colors.

So there's three solid reasons - sound absorption, electron flow, and magnetism. Obviously your friend would be completely remiss if he didn't take these factors into account. ;)

That’s...fair(?)

Ok, I'll Meet him halfway on this deal - if after a year, I don't like the new proto pups I'll pay for the return shipping of one of them, but he's gotta cover the shipping cost of the other. Aren't I generous!

That was so beautifully generous...choking back the tears...wait, choking on some almonds, nevermind
