The other day my dog was sitting beside me on the couch in the basement. I played Shout At The Devil album through a stereo. During the opening track, she was looking around, wondering what the weird noises were... wish I got a video, it was hilarious!

Side note: I just started the video to make sure it was was it should be... my mum... from the other room asked me what that noise is.

Interesting box. It can make your rounds sound like flats when the LPF is cranked over too far. I have discovered the same cleanup effect using the fDeck. It just makes the bass sound better without doing much to the sound itself.

I could’ve happily stayed with the fDeck. Great HPF. I just wanted to see if I could tame highs without losing presence, so I gave this box a shot. Glad I did :)

If I didn't already have the fDeck and then the ToneHammer in my chain, that would absolutely be on my list of future shiny boxes. The ToneHammer does a pretty good job of rolling off highs if I need it to. I find boosting mids is what I need for the 'Bird sometimes. I don't play with a pick very often, which means I don't have much clank to tame unless I rip on the strings too much.

For what its worth, the size of the Big Muff pedal led me to buying a much smaller one. Supposedly it's a Woolly Mammoth clone. Fuzz bow sounded great through the Muff. I hope it sounds as good through this new one, since it will fit on the board in a way the Muff just doesn't. Yes, I'm completely shallow.
