Let it Goat. Man you're brutal.
As Confusion once said - if the foo sh!ts, wear it.

Goatboy has talents beyond belief, in fact I'm not sure I believe any of them.

Seriously, he's a great sport to put up with all our bleating in this thread. Besides, the pet goat I had when growing up was one of the coolest pets I ever had.

If I were playing a VP, I’d be looking for a somewhat darker sounding Nickel string, personally...or maybe Cobalt flats even
Completely agree. Switched the stock strings for DR Silver Stars (silver Black Beauties). Sounds good but lost a bit more growl and grind than I wanted to lose. I'm thinking the Cobalt flats will tame the top end without burying the grind. Might try those next. Just want to be sure not to emphasize the mids any more than the bass already naturally does.

Relative to Chromes (Nickel Rounds), are the Sunbeams brighter? I like dark and deep but well defined.
I can't compare them to Chromes, but I can tell you that they are brighter than Ernie Ball Slinky or D'Addario XL, and with more body and balance than either of those as well. Easy on the fingers for roundwounds, generally long-lasting - DR makes a good product, IME.
