What sort of bridge is standard on Greco Birds?

There's one for sale on Reverb at the moment and the bridge is not what I would expect to find on a GSO.

Greco Thunder Bird Bass, Black, 1987, Made In Japan, HUGE LOW END

I can't say what Greco might've used in '87, but I know the '89 that I drooled over for a couple months before it finally sold (also on Reverb.com) and all other Greco T-birds that I've seen (which have been newer than '87), utilize a 3 point with a claw tailpiece.

In the Navy ,that was my job. Oh, we had to do the usual b.s. jobs-sweeping,swabbing,etc. in our area only, that fall to the lowest ranked people,but that was it-rehearse and play. Some ceremonial stuff like flag raising, change of command ceremonies and the like but all in all not a bad way to avoid getting shot at. AFAIK,Army was similar. The Marines,however, were ground pounders first,anything else after.My time in was '64-'68. Things have prolly changed since then. Or not! After all ,it is the military.

Thanks. My Uncle played a trumpet in a RAN (Navy) Reserves Band. I never asked him. He also owned a clarinet and a saxophone; so I guess he may have used them all at times. I only saw the trumpet. He died in 1980 so I missed my chance to talk to him about it.

Well hello everybody, it's been a while since I posted. If you remember I was looking after my mum who had dementia but she has gone now. Since then I've been meaning to get some stuff off my chest but I could never seem to press the post reply button so if this post actually appears then I will have finally done it.

So, I do hate starting a sentence with so, but anyway, I've been having an issue for most of my life, if not all of it, despite all that has happened in my life much of it has been a bit odd in context to this post. I'm sure Mark will find this brings a smile to his face, I hope the rest of of you who know me find it does too or at least you wont hate me. I guess the photo below says more than I'm trying my best to do, not the best photo but..:

Stock from the factory mine had a three point and a tail piece, but Greco did some pretty strange things over their production run. The one in the add looks to be stock, either that or a re fin, some did have black hardware.

Thanks. No bass munny for the moment anyway. Must extract digit and get the Epi sold. Then I'll be able to pounce on the right Gibson/Orville/Greco and unleash the nickel -- chrome is classy, nickel is nicer.

Marmite ... now there's a thing. There are two different sorts of Marmite. British Marmite and NZ Marmite. The British one is like umami axle grease and the NZ one resembles Vegemite but is much much better. British people think you are lying when you say NZ Marmite in entirely different, but it's true. Even the Mod would actually now agree that it's true.

I've now seen a few of these up for sale on the internet. No idea what the model number is or any real info, but they appeared to have a Fender style bridge and bolt on necks, only seen them in black with black hardware.

I dunno which version Oz got in the 60s/70s (when I would have tried it).

But I didn’t like it. But I had been brought up on Vegemite.
(White bread, Vegemite and hot Chips. Wow. What a treat!)

Not keen on the 3 point + claw aesthetic. The Greco piqued my interest because it is single pickup. What I really want is a Gibson or Orville in black, at the right price.
