Very, very impressive! What kind of pickups did you use? Kinda hard to tell what neck it is from the pic...P? J?

and thank you to everybody else too, you have all been very accepting, a small thing maybe but it means an awful lot to meI hate the neck on the Fenderbird, just too wide for me, I think I'll try and find a nice Jazz neck to fit it instead of that plank, other than that it is a nice sounding thing

I took a look at your profile to see if I could do it for you, but I don't have all the moderator functions that some others do, it's fairly common and is easily done, I suggest sending Bryan R Tyler a PM, he'll help you with it.
They're TB+s, Scott sold them to me a couple of years ago, I pulled the plastic covers off and popped them into some nickel ones from the Philly luthier. The neck is a P, P for plank LOL I hate it, as soon as I can find a decent Jazz it will be going on

Long gig tonight! Gotta load in tomorrow at 11 am! We’re playing at Busch Park after the St. Louis Cardinals game. Have to sound check before the first pitch and start playing after the last pitch. Usually fun, but it’s gonna be a cold one tomorrow! After that gig, we pack up and go to another gig at a club. Almost like work

At one point the Mod had 56 tins stored (you can fit 2 in each cell of a 28 cell winerack).
Took some finding but this was the first post in the Fenderbird build Thunderbird Club it carries on over the next couple of weeks

On any other day day I wouldn't quibble but I gave up work to look after my mum and I have no income at all only savings and strangely no one seems to want to employ me anymore. If things look up again then I probably will but for now I want to save our cash to do a little travlling

Welcome back. I was offline for awhile so was unfamiliar with your situation. Glad to see you made it through. TB is definitely a welcoming atmosphere. I could not agree more w/ your description of the P neck. I needed a short scale bass for some of our gigs and went with a Squier VM Jaguar SS because it uses a J neck(IF there was an affordable SS TBird I'd have gone w/ that). Anyway, happy that you're here. Please try to develop a sense of humor.

Ugh!!!!!!!, it's one of my all time favorites, I have never owned one, but have played them in shops. Heavy yes, but the tone is incedible.
I was liking this 'til I saw the price. Sheeesh!
