Well hello everybody, it's been a while since I posted. If you remember I was looking after my mum who had dementia but she has gone now. Since then I've been meaning to get some stuff off my chest but I could never seem to press the post reply button so if this post actually appears then I will have finally done it.

So, I do hate starting a sentence with so, but anyway, I've been having an issue for most of my life, if not all of it, despite all that has happened in my life much of it has been a bit odd in context to this post. I'm sure Mark will find this brings a smile to his face, I hope the rest of of you who know me find it does too or at least you wont hate me. I guess the photo below says more than I'm trying my best to do, not the best photo but..:

Welcome back, Christine! Sorry for the hardship and loss of your mum. You are most certainly amongst friends. Glad you're able to rejoin us. :)

Welcome back. I am sorry for the loss of your mother. Losing a parent is hard. My father passed on Sept 1st and its still a tough thing to deal with. Best of luck to you as you move forward with your new life.

Can I PM you?

Of course.

Disregard the black and white ones. My vinyl cutting guy sucks and I can’t deal with him anymore.

Christine, I'm trying to get rapidly caught up on the club thread but just wanted to take a second to remind you that no matter where life takes you, as long as you're on TB and specifically in this club, you're among family and friends. I'm so sorry for your recent loss but also so happy that you can openly be you! Be safe, be happy, be free, and always be true to yourself.

Ok, that's enough of the gushy stuff - damn nice birds you got there, especially that looker on the left side of the pic.

You're back! The Commonwealth contingent needs all the help it can get. Stand up for rain and rich tea biscuits!
Hi Kat, yes I'm back, my conscience has been niggling me about leaving you. Rain by the bucket load but I'm going to have to skip the rich tea for a bit, while looking after mum I got a little stressed and as a means of relief I single handedly kept the Australian wine trade going. Consequently I've put on a load of weight and I'm on a diet from hell at the moment.

No idea if I can catch up on what's been happening here, over a 1000 pages since I last popped in so either the population has grown or there isn't a lot of playing going on here!

Ironically I've been playing in a Banshees tribute band very recently, great song that considering the lack of talent in the band at the time
Actually ironic on a couple of levels, it could be a song about me even if I only have 2 faces not 22. Also ironic that it turns out I could be a contender to be the singer in the band but then I couldn't hope to sing remotely like Siouxsie

You could always start up a Welsh charter of The Nasty Habits! :)

Do you know, I'd love that but I suspect there is a lot more to that band than meets the eye (not a good choice of words was it?). I'm sure a band of their ilk would be a success in towns like London or Manchester but somehow here in sleepy Wales, it would upset the sheep

Cool bus avatar as well! I have a Ghia in the garage waiting for my attention...
I always wanted a Ghia, I never got one, lovely cars though. I sold the blue bus last year when it looked like we were in for the long haul with mum. I've just bought a new one, we intend to disappear for a few months of the year to upset Europe. We got a new one because we would be very hard pressed to find a T2 in the condition that one was in, she was a lovely bus to say the least
