Thunderbird Club

Nah... everybody here is too busy focussing on what their holiday cups look like to be concerned with insignificant details like, "am I drinking excrement?"
My daughter has a cabinet fulla the damn things. I have 1 mug (which I occasionally wash) in the van and 1 at home that says "I don't do mornings". That's it -unless 1 breaks.

Okay, I'm off on a little trip that will take me to Paris (Thanks Christine!) and later to Germany. I'll be with my family and along the way will have the chance to catch up with my friend Uwe Hornung in Frankfurt, for those of you not familiar with the name, it is he that owns almost all of the basses in our Bible, The Gibson Bass book. I'll be checking in and posting as WiFi allows, but I'd appreciate it greatly if one of you fine folks could keep track of any new member requests until I get back. You're own your own good behavior.

Meantime, Thunderbirds are GO!

Good behaviour, me!

I love that pick guard!

You need a PhD to use that!!
Nice mixer :)

Well, it's too complicated for me - But she's a pro barista and this espresso machine is the "home" version of the machines she uses at work - So it's easy for her, and it makes amazing coffee! :D

The mixer is ours, though... :)

Starbucks consistently has the worst brewed coffee I've ever tasted. Tried many, many, many times to like it but it's like every bean or coffee type they have has been over roasted. It just tastes burnt to me. The price I could live with if it was something that was actually good and not readily avalible elsewhere. But nope, it's just over priced crap coffee to my tastebuds.

On a related note, I view every micro brewery that I've visited in pretty much the same light. Overpriced trendy swell that varies so much from batch to batch knowing if you're going to like what you try is a total crap shoot, and if you do like it good luck getting the exact same thing next month. Then again I'm far from a beer fanboy, I like my Gin and Tonic or red wine.

We could be mates :)

Yep... Me too! :)
