Epi Vintage Pro number 2 has arrived! I haven't had much time to spend with it. Unpacked it and gave it a quick once over, sure looks like a keeper, the grain is all I hoped for!

We're a '60s/'70s cover band. I do most of the announcing. When we do"My Girl", I say I enjoy doing this song because the intro features...ME! Also our closer-"We gotta get outta this place"-same reason.
Over here it's "The Chicken Dance". "Duck" dance makes better sense!(including the "quacking")

Actually, neither. I play "finger style" so much of the time that my right hand starts to cramp up picking (except my nose). I use the pick sometimes for a little "pop" and I used to use it a lot back in the '80s. Just kinda got out of it. Carol Kaye would Not like me.

I saw a video of "The Animals" doing the song. Bassist Was picking. I tried it-no go! I'm sure if I worked on it I could pick it but I'm happy(?) as is.
Actually, I pick more in the concert band to add a little percussiveness behind the tuba.

He was mostly obscured by Burdon but I'm sure I'd have noticed if it was.
