You’ll be very welcome, our queen is away in Paris having fun but someone will give you a number in her absence
Did you not like the super tone? I’d be interested to hear your thoughts, I was thinking of getting one to try

So, bass playing time: Do you have an all time favourite song that you love playing? Not for any skill factors necessarily, for just sheer fun, whatever.
We're a '60s/'70s cover band. I do most of the announcing. When we do"My Girl", I say I enjoy doing this song because the intro features...ME! Also our closer-"We gotta get outta this place"-same reason.:D:bassist:

You play both of these with a pick?
Actually, neither. I play "finger style" so much of the time that my right hand starts to cramp up picking (except my nose). I use the pick sometimes for a little "pop" and I used to use it a lot back in the '80s. Just kinda got out of it. Carol Kaye would Not like me.:smug:

The Mod starts the day with this.

Then around mid morning switches to this.

I fail to understand the fuss. The only equipment required for a refreshing and sustaining hot drink is a vessel of hot water with some dried camellia leaves in it.
1 coffee by 5 am. Green tea at night.

Gotta have me a little variety in my day. Know what I mean?

I saw a video of "The Animals" doing the song. Bassist Was picking. I tried it-no go! I'm sure if I worked on it I could pick it but I'm happy(?) as is.:) Actually, I pick more in the concert band to add a little percussiveness behind the tuba.
