So, yes I've had it and didn't really care much for it, I like Dragon fruit much more. I've also had most of the other shocking menu items in rural China - cooked scorpion, duck embryo eggs fermented in cow dung, sea horse on a stick, suckling pig, deep fried whole shrimp, duck feet, duck tongue, snake, eel, dog, horse and I'm sure other things that I wasn't aware of. Like I said, when in Rome.
I like Drunken Prawns, Birds Nest Soup, Balut and Monkey Wine ..It's when you see the porcupine in a cage by the front door of the restaurant and you see porcupine soup advertised in the menu that I start looking for a McDonald's..
