Thunderbird Club

I've had two job offers off the back of LinkedIn (not as an escort :roflmao:) one of them since my current status reads "Retired". The first one I did go for an interview after they contacted me but I didn't want to leave the job I had at the time. Quite impressed with it, not sure I'd like a homicidal detective checking me out though :)
I ended up scrubbing most of my linkedin profile. Just way too much on line presence and too many unknown (and unwanted) watchers lurking about. Same reason I don't have a Facebook presence. Social media sites are always cool, until they aren't. YMMV

Bird brethren,
Seriously. How much in US $ would you think is reasonable for a 64 TB II with a long time stable headstock repair. Visible but not ultra ugly.
It is in reasonable condition otherwise and has an Ozzie Stamford case (original?). Nothing badly busted elsewhere but a couple of extra screw holes from a bit of tug bar experimentation.
TRC not original but everything else looks right- covers included. Neck looks good and straight.
It is "Burst.

Oohhh!!!! Watching this. :woot:

I had ordered a custom PG for my '67 NR TBird-original is cracked where they all seem to crack:up by the Thunderbird's left wing. So, this is what it looks like w/o the pup cover or the TBird decal I got from @LarryV. :) (Edit: I shall now duck!)View attachment 3037041
Why do flatwounds look so cool?..

Did it belong to Cliff Williams?

Not that I know of. I was wondering whether it might have been one of Mark Evans' but that hasn't been mentioned either.
There aren't a lot in Oz.
I believe that, only 501 IIs built that year..

With the case? Bout tree fiddy.

I get stalked by Chinese jobber shops who want to manufacture for a manufacturer...that I haven't worked for in a year and a half.

I too get the usual assortment of salesmen stalking me. That I expect and I can ignore them.

Skeletons in your closet?

Not skeletons. And not in the closet...

Being fairly certain I have done nothing worthy of investigation, it seems weird and creepy. My only thought is that I along with about a million other people in the drug industry really disliked Barry Sherman.

It always seems to be to be reasonable to at least explore these sorts of things.

Linked In, I keep current as it is actually useful to me. I still have a facebook account, but have not posted anything since 2009. I have a twitter account, but only use that for reading. That covers all the social medias, doesn't it?

So what do you all think..With rings or without?
I’m doing a little experiment with the Epiphone 760 Pro pickups.
I removed the pickups from my Embassy and put them in my Gumby Bass.I used all CTS 500K pots and the same cap as the Embassy has.
No doubt that the sound of the Thunderbird Vintage Pro comes from these pickups.
Until I can find a source for these I may move them back and forth.
Just a little rainy day project for the weekend..

I prefer no rings. With solid colors, I could go either way. But with that kind of beautiful wood....

Much better with the rings around the pickups, just my .02.
